To Love, Equip, and *Disciple others by the power of God.
To follow Christ in obedience of the scriptures by selflessly loving people. (John 13:1-35)
To build up the body of Christ through the equipping of the saints for the ministry of the gospel. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
To fulfill the great commission through active Discipleship. (Matthew 28:19-20)
We recognize and understand that we can do many "good" things, but our desire is to lead others in clinging to the only good thing in us, Jesus. In John 15:5 Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."
It is only through God's power that we are able to bear lasting fruit.
*A disciple is a "learner" or follower of Christ and His teachings. Much like apprentices, disciples learn from their teachers and implement what they have learned in every day life. Discipleship is life on life; walking together through thick and thin all the while looking at our circumstances through the lens of what Christ has done for us.
